Compare lenders on what you actually pay

Put up to four offers side by side. Every option is costed on the same loan amount, with processing fee and GST folded in, and ranked by total outflow — so the cheapest headline rate does not automatically win.

How to read a loan comparison

The traps that make a cheap-looking loan expensive.

Because the headline rate is only part of the price. A lender advertising 8.40% with a 1% processing fee can easily cost more than one at 8.55% with a flat ₹10,000 fee, particularly on a shorter tenure where the fee is spread over fewer years. Total cost — every instalment plus fees plus GST — is the number that leaves your account, so that is what the ranking uses.

Usually yes, because a longer tenure always lowers the EMI while raising the total cost, and mixing tenures makes the EMI column meaningless. Each card has its own tenure field for the case where a lender genuinely will not offer the term you want — but if you change one, read the total cost row rather than the EMI row.

No. The rates you can prefill are the published starting rates from each lender's own page. What you are actually offered depends on your credit score, income, loan-to-value ratio, employer category and existing relationship with the bank — and is frequently higher than the advertised floor. Use the prefill as a starting point, then replace it with the rate in your own sanction letter or quote.

Yes. The calculator applies your processing fee as a percentage of the sanctioned amount, adds GST on that fee (18% is the standard rate on financial services in India), and reports a Total Cost of Loan that includes both. This matters when comparing lenders: a bank offering a rate 0.1% lower but charging double the processing fee can easily be the more expensive option on a short tenure.

Yes. The comparison tool takes up to four lenders with independent amounts, rates, tenures, processing fees and part-payment plans, then ranks them by total outflow rather than by headline rate — which is the only comparison that reflects fees honestly. You can prefill the rates from our bank interest rates table.

Every calculation runs entirely in your browser. Loan amounts, rates and tenures are never transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere. We record anonymous page-view counts to understand which tools get used, using a random session identifier that is discarded when you close the tab and a one-way hash of your IP address — never the address itself, and never a tracking cookie. Visitors sending a Do Not Track signal are excluded entirely.
